I did two more pages this week using the paper from Close to my Hearts
Jackson Workshop on the Go kit.
Jackson Workshop on the Go kit.
I made the sign using Cricut cartridge Outdoor Man and ran it through my embosser using a wood grain folder then dusted it lightly with black ink for some dimension. Feed the animals came from the Animal Kingdom cartridge. I just didn't use the word Don't.
For this I used several stamps that came with the Jackson kit. The first being the arrow tip stamp and I used Juniper ink to add a little detail and to draw the eye across the page. The larger hexagon is 3" and I used the So Happy Here stamp with Cocoa ink. I masked the words leaving just the edges to stamp with so that I could do some (not so straight) journaling on it. I cut the hexagons using Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge and used real dial size so I could adjust the sizes. The diamond shape element on one of the hexagons also came with the kit.
The strip near the bottom is actually one side of the product description strip that runs along one edge most scrapbook paper. Don't you love it when the paper designer incorporates a design element on one side so the strip doesn't go to waste when cut off. Most of the papers I get from CTMH is like that.
I still have enough paper left over to make at least 1 more layout! I can’t
believe how far this packet has gone!
