Seeing Red (and pink, white and blue)

There’s been a Valentine explosion around here this weekend and I’m still not done!

I wanted to send my son a Starbucks gift card for Valentines Day and found this cute Love you a Latte sentiment in the Just Because Cards cartridge.

Then to go along with the theme, a steaming cup of coffee in the Graphically Speaking cartridge.  The card holder is in the Wild Card cartridge.

For my GBs I found a cute heart purse in the Tags, Bags, Boxes & More Cartridge.
The butterfly is a heart I ran through the Cuttlebug &
to which I added a little bling and ribbon accents
I used the Windows function key for the adorable heart cutout. I backed the window with plastic from some blister packaging I had on hand. I wrapped the candy in a piece of saran wrap and tied it with a piece of curling ribbon, mainly for easier transporting. Once the girls get it they can dump the candy straight into the purse for easier access.
TIP:  Clear plastic packaging is good to have around so when you find a large flat piece stash it away.
I used my Gypsy to turn the purse at an angle so I could cut it larger than normal while still only using a 12x12 piece of cardstock. It was cut at a width of 12.79 and a height of 6.76. Even though the purse was well inside the cut lines it still went back and cut a small strip off of the top of the purse handle. I was able to glue it back on but just thought you might want to know you might run into this problem.
